1. Unique History

Bamo Village is one of the tourist villages in East Manggarai district. This village has a unique tradition, namely the Vera dance. The vera dance is a quite well-known dance, which is a tradition for the people of Bamo Village. This dance is only performed at funerals. However, in line with the development of Flores tourism, this dance is freely performed at various ceremonies, such as the Republic of Indonesia Independence ceremony, cultural festivals in East Manggarai and Flores districts.
